Terms and conditions

1. The cliff to the coast must not be descended and people not to venture past signage as it could destroy fragile dune system and impact nesting birds within.
2. Animals are to be observed only from the distance the animals choose, (do not go up to or chase them, they have little fear of people and will come close enough and we would like to keep it that way). Animals are not to be bothered in any way or fed with any foods.
3. Credit Card details will be held until cleaning is complete and any breakages/damage/missing items and/or extra cleaning will be charged to this credit card. Guests may be asked to endorse a blank Credit Card Voucher for this purpose which will be destroyed immediately after cleaning unless additional charges are incurred. In case of no credit card hosts have the right to request a bond. Guests may also be asked to present photo ID prior to occupancy.
4. Any damage/breakage should be reported to the office or Paul’s Place prior to departure.
5. Hosts ask that the premises be left in an acceptably clean state resulting from normal use. Extra cleaning will be charged at $20/hour. Our rates simply do not cover scrubbing of fridges, ovens, microwaves, removing countless stains etc.
6. BBQ’s and ovens should be left clean, ready for next use.
7. Speed limit of 15km/hour is to be adhered to at all times for safety of guests and wildlife.
8. Other signage around the property should also be adhered to.
9. Only adults are to handle & operate TV, DVD’s, Satellite etc. Please return all Videos, DVD’s etc into cases and treat all equipment with utmost care and read the instructions for operating the Satellite TV.
10. Children are to be supervised at all times and it is the sole responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure they do not disturb environment, wildlife or other guests. Children are not to play in wetland. This is also important for their safety.
11. Lost/Unreturned keys are charged at $10 per key.
12. No pets at any time out of respect for the wildlife.
13. Smoking is not allowed indoors, please dispose of butts in ashtrays, (terracotta pots on porch).
14. Other guests are to be respected at all times, (noise levels etc)
15. Only paid for guests stay overnight. If number of people exceeds the number booked and paid for guests will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund.
16. Cars to be parked and driven only in designated areas.
17. Please place all litter and recycling in appropriate bins.
18. No Party Poppers outside out of respect for wildlife
19. No Campfires permitted.
20. Any appliances or other non functioning equipment must be reported to Paul’s Place immediately and will be serviced as soon as possible. No refund or discounts apply in this instance.
21. Check in is at 2pm and check out at 10am. Exceptions are possible with prior arrangement and only off peak when possible. Should cleaners be kept waiting a charge of $25/hour after 10am applies.

Any persons in breach of the above may be asked to vacate the premises immediately with no refunds offered. No correspondence will be entered into.
